Just like your hair, brows can thin with age and eventually stop growing, making you look older than you are so here are a few simple tips to help camouflage this and other ideas to make your brows look fab:
1: Use a water-proof brow powder or gel to fill in the brows, making them look fuller, finish off by using a brow mascara to quickly tint any lighter/grey brow hairs and make the brows appear more groomed.
2: Use a cool shade to fill in your brows, similar to your hair colour, avoid red tones unless you have red hair.
3: Defining the arch of the brow helps to lift the eye, but not too harsh or severely pointed – if in doubt it is best to go and visit a professional for advice on which shape will best suit your brows and your face shape.
4: To finish off, use a moisturising concealer lightly under the brow bone to define the shape even more and also to conceal any veins or possible pigmentation, and lightly dust with a light powder.
Another option is to have your brows professionally tinted every couple of months in a salon or with a home kit – this saves time each morning and gives the illusion of fuller brows.
Microblading is a becoming more popular as a more permanent solution to thinning brows but I would always advise you see a reputable, experienced person as the quality can vary dramatically depending on the persons experience and ability.
